Moongate Studios is a creative house where stories, art, and imagination meet. Founded by Beth Wagner, the studio was born from a love of storytelling in all its forms—whether told through words, paint, or inked panels.

At its heart, Moongate Studios is dedicated to honouring the legacy of author JP Wagner, whose novels are published posthumously through the studio. Each book is crafted with care, bringing his visionary worlds to life for new generations of readers. With an artist’s touch and an editor’s precision, Moongate’s publishing branch treats every title as both a story and a work of art—beautifully designed, thoughtfully produced, and meant to endure.

Beyond the printed page, Moongate Studios is also home to the artwork of Beth Wagner, whose paintings and illustrations capture the same sense of wonder and storytelling found in the studio’s books. Her art explores emotion, myth, and imagination—creating a visual dialogue that complements the worlds within Moongate’s stories.

The studio also produces original comics, including Tedieval, a whimsical and heartfelt series featuring Theodoro the bear and his medieval misadventures. With its mix of humour, charm, and craftsmanship, Tedieval embodies Moongate’s mission to blend creativity and storytelling across every medium.
