I’m really not sure how to feel about today. I’m really nervous about sharing a table with someone. At least she’s a writer and I do comics, so to the average person, they are two separate things entirely. I don’t think I’ll be really settled until my booth is up and my comics are stapled.
I should have brought my dice.
Artist Alley was split up into two parts. It was first come first serve which means people were everywhere and gamer overflow was in our section which cut into our space. But I was lucky because I had a visible spot in the hallway. I also plan to print some posters tonight.
I got macked on by the man meets woman (?) people, this seems to be a trend with them though.
I also convinced the boys to get up and talk about their books. The comic creators kind of formed a gang here at the con. It doesn’t hurt that we’ve all known each other for a while too so it’s more a matter of old friends getting together and selling their comics.
There was also the matter of me convincing Steve that just because he’s not a household word, that he can still speak about what he does as a webcomic artist. (he is more well known than he thinks he is)
All in all it was a good day.
There is only one question I have left, who is Russ and why does he keep hugging me?
